Our New Home

This has been the craziest month.  However, we are both really excited.  I think Dave and I both feel like our heads are spinning.  We have had so much going on...and on top of it all, we have been house hunting.  The good news is that we have found a home that is preciously perfect for us and we cannot wait to move in.  We close a few days before Thanksgiving...and will be having my family over to our new home for our first Thanksgiving as married folk.  (Of course my dad will be preparing the meal....hopefully....and it might be on paper plates.)  But either way, we are so thankful!

We had not planned on finding a home this soon.  Lately, however, we have just been outgrowing our 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. We have used every little inch of space and there is none left.  Of course, this is the home we first lived in together...so we are already feeling a little sentimental about leaving it.  But we have put a lot of thought and prayer into this...so we put it on the market and started looking.
We must have looked at a bazillion homes.  However, the minute we saw this one we knew we were home.  It is perfect for us.  It is 2500 square feet, 4 bedroom, 3 bath.  It is about 3 minutes from the school that I teach at, but in a different school zone.  That's a plus...because I won't be living in the neighborhood with the same kids I am teaching. (A little space is nice no matter how much you like em!!!)  They are leaving the brand new refrigerator, washer and dryer, and the pool table for my hubby.  We are loving that one day soon we will be able to raise our babies there.  Dave loves the kitchen and I LOVE my new backyard.  It has already been landscaped, so I am taking bets on how long it takes me to kill off all of the beautiful plants and flowers (however, it is my new mission to keep it all growing).  There is also a really big solarium that makes it all seem very light and bright and open.

On another note, we are also really excited about the new church that we visited this morning. We have been trying several different ones over the last few months, but have not felt the right fit yet. However, this morning we went to one that will be very close to our new home and WE LOVED IT! I thought the music was amazing...and Dave loved the pastor (me too!!!).  We are really excited to see if this is the church we can call home and raise our babies in. (Not yet...but in a few years).

Here are some of the pictures. We cannot wait to have visitors.
