More Fall Fun

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit in October.

We loved showing them Dave's new office and having a fabulous lunch at Village Burger Bar.

The guys did some golfing with B.J. and James (Dave's boss and co-worker).  They took Brooksie Bear with them.  So Marla and I did a little shopping. Then we took Presley to Bonnie Ruth's for a fabulous brunch (mimosas included).

We all went to the park and walked around the lake. The weather was perfect!

Brooks LOVES dinosaurs.  So we made a fun stegosaurus pumpkin.

Halloween was fun this year because it was the first year where neither of the kids were terrified of costumes. Brooks was a T-Rex. Presley started the day as a cheerleader, but ended it as a princess.

Daddy had to work all day, as it was Jesuit's homecoming.  So we went to visit him at Jesuit and take him out to lunch. After a nice nap, Gammy and Paw Paw came over. Gammy stayed at the house to pass out candy, while the rest of us went trick or treating.

Dave flew back to Arizona for a long weekend of football with his family. They went to the ASU/Notre Dame game, as well as the Cardinals/Rams game. Both his teams won, so he was thrilled!

Reason #453 that we love having Gammy right down the street from us:  backyard picnics on beautiful days.

Every year Jesuit has a huge Homecoming concert. This year it was Pat Green and REO Speedwagon. Well, since our college days together, I have been going to Pat Green concerts with Dacia and Amber. So we couldn't pass up the chance em to relive our younger years. We had an absolute blast!!!

This is Dave's busy season at work. Lots of dinners and lots of parties. Which is fabulous for us!  We get to dress up and go have dinner out lots. Gammy has been such a huge help with the kids, that we have not even had to hire a babysitter once.

This is my sweet friend Greg, his wife Jen, and their beautiful babies. Greg and I have been friends since high school and have gone through lots together over the last 20 years. Due to us moving out of state, and both of us starting families, it has been about 5 years since we have seen each other. So recently we got the families together at a little pizza place in downtown McKinney. They shoved us all into a little room in the back so our kids could be wild and crazy (which they were). It was so much fun. And we are planning on seeing them again over the holidays.

Reason #572 that I love being back in the Dallas area:  reconnecting with lots of good friends.

Dave got the kids all dressed up to take this picture for my birthday. Then he it it in a frame that he glued puzzle pieces on. So sweet!  Did I mention they also made me a chocolate cake?  Love my little family.

This picture makes my heart stand still.  I love these two BIG much!
