We had a great time for Dave's 38th birthday. Our friend, Amanda, kept the kids so that we could go out for a little date night. So we took the opportunity to go explore part of the "big city" that we had not been to yet. We headed down to a happening little area that I'm sure we would have frequented in our younger (pre-children) days! First we went a fabulous little sports bar, where we split some sinful nachos and had a drink. Next, we headed across the street to a Cafe and Bar, where we split a glass of wine and each had a dessert. Holy moly! That was the first time I have had a Smores Brownie Sundae. But it won't be the last! Seriously!
Anywho, we had a great time laughing and talking and not being mommy and daddy for a night!
