Current Age: 3 years and 3 months
Names we call him: Brooksie Bear, Brooks David, Batman
He is: my superhero, a social butterfly, as stubborn as can possibly be, super sassy, curious, the best hugger in the whole wide world, Momma's baby, Daddy's buddy, so stinking smart, a wonderer, a bit of a perfectionist, getting past a lot of his little fears, absolutely amazing.
He LOVES: To Pretend. There is no telling who that kid will decide he wants to be at any given moment. And who you are going to be, for that matter. But don't worry...he will tell ya! And he might just make you wear a cape too.
He also loves: puzzles, playing Candyland, playing Don't Break the Ice, being with his friends, fire trucks, transformers, superheroes, bandaids, reading books, going to church, swimming, riding his bike, snuggling with his mommy, singing songs.
He DOES NOT love: bedtime, sharing his toys (but he is getting better about it)
Favorite shows: Little Einsteins, Go Diego Go, Wild Kratts, and Team Umizoomi
Favorite Foods:
chicken nuggets, blueberry nutri-grain bars, cereal, peanut butter sandwiches, chocolate donuts with sprinkles, "yellow" ice cream, scrambled eggs, cheetos
This child never stops amazing me. Here is a sample of some of the things that have come out of his mouth this week:
"Mommy, stop arguing with me"
"Mommy, don't you talk to me like that."
"Why do bumble bees sting us?" (This was literally the very first thing he said to me when he woke up one morning!)
"Why does the remote turn the TV on?"
And perhaps my favorite: Dave had to take Brooks to the bathroom in the grocery store. An old man walked in. Brooks asked Dave in a really loud voice "Daddy, is that guy trying to poop?!?!?"
Love this boy with ALL my heart!
