Dave is on Spring Break this week. So we decided to take a last minute trip to Dallas to visit my family. And I mean last minute! We were actually in the car, halfway to the zoo here, when my Dad called and said we should come down for a few days. We looked at each other and said "Why not?" Of course we had to go back home and pack, but we were on the road an hour later.
And because Brooks was a little upset about not going to the zoo, we promised to take him to the Dallas World Aquarium. It seriously is one of my absolute favorite places! So if you ever have the chance to go, do it!
We had a great trip, filled with family and lots of great memories.

My parents live on the golf course. So Brooksie Bear was really excited to see Daddy, Paw Paw, and Uncle Greg golfing in the backyard!
