Grandma, Grandpa, and a BIG birthday for Brooks

Brooks turned 2 on April 1st and we had the quite the weekend celebrating the birth of our sweet boy!  Dave's parents came in from Arizona for the weekend to celebrate with us.  It was a fantastic weekend filled with lots of fun.  The weather was absolutely amazing so we spent most of our days outside.  Grandma and Grandpa got Brooks a new swingset for his birthday so we spent a lot of time out in our backyard watching him play, grilling out.  Brooks also took Grandma and Grandpa to the park and to go swimming at the community center.

We had a few really nice dinners and lunches out, including taking Dave's parents to The Pink House, one of our new favorite spots in town. 

And of course, Brooks opened presents and enjoyed some ice cream cake!

He was SO cold that he was shivering and his lips were turning blue, but he did not want to get out.
