Presley - Loving Life

Oh my sweet girl.  My spunky, sassy, bossy, sensitive, precious little angel.  She has brought so much love and life to our little family.

Presley is now 2 1/2.  But you wouldn't know it.  She is almost as tall as her brother and talks ALL THE TIME.

She is WILD.  You would never know that when you first meet her.  At first, she is incredibly timid.  She is extremely cautious about who she lets in.  But once you are in, watch out, there are no boundaries!

She is stubborn.  So incredibly stubborn.  (I blame that one on Daddy!)

Speaking of Daddy, she has him wrapped around her little finger.  He knows that apple fell right under his tree.  One of his biggest challenges is to not laugh when she is being naughty, because she reminds him SO much of himself.

She spends most of her days bossing our poor dog around and waiting for just the right moment to grab a lego off of Brooks' latest invention, running and laughing as he follows her screaming.

She loves all things girly.  And all things not girly.  One minute she is standing beside me in the bathroom, begging me for "wipstick" or a "neckwace".  Two minutes later, I find her trying to jump off the swingset.

She loves to pick out her own clothes and get herself dressed.  She averages 6 wardrobe changes a day.  Dressing her is a nightmare.  Not gonna lie.  Her main goal is to wear every color in the rainbow at one time.  And if you don't accommodate that, then you better be ready for a fight.

Some days she is potty trained.  Some days she is not.  It just depends on how the wind is blowing and what kind of mood she wakes up in.  Did I mention she is stubborn?

Since the move, she has been sleeping in the bed that I slept in as a little girl.  It's also the bed that my mom and my great grandfather slept in.  She's getting to be such a big girl.

She is full of contradictions.  Full of personality.  And full of love.  What a blessing she has been to our lives.
